General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use

Last updated : August 26, 2026

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use (the “Terms”) govern the subscription, access to and use of The Bridal Edit service, as well as the contractual relationship between Félix Fernandes, an individual entrepreneur operating under the trade name The Bridal Edit (“The Bridal Edit”), and its professional clients (the “Client”). The Bridal Edit is exclusively intended for professionals working in the beauty and wedding industries, including makeup artists, hairstylists and other professionals operating their business on a professional basis. By creating an account, subscribing to a plan or using The Bridal Edit, the Client acknowledges having read and accepted these Terms without reservation.

1. Purpose

These Terms define the conditions under which The Bridal Edit provides the Client with an online platform designed to support the management of the Client's professional business.

They specify, in particular, the conditions of access to the service, the terms applicable to subscriptions and payments, the rules governing the use of the platform, and the respective rights and obligations of The Bridal Edit and the Client.

2. Acceptance and Formation of the Contract

Creating an account, subscribing to a plan or using the service constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms.

Subscribing to a plan constitutes a firm order and results in the formation of a contract between The Bridal Edit and the Client.

The Bridal Edit is exclusively intended for professionals acting in the course of their business activities. The Client declares that the subscription is made for professional purposes and that the Client has the legal capacity required to enter into these Terms.

If the Client does not accept these Terms, the Client must not create an account, subscribe to a plan or use the service.

3. Account Creation and Management

Access to the service requires the creation of an account.

The Client agrees to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information when creating an account and to update such information when necessary.

The Client is responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for all activity carried out through the Client's account.

The Client must promptly notify The Bridal Edit at hello@thebridaledit.app in the event of loss, theft, unauthorized use or suspected compromise of login credentials.

The account is personal to the Client and may not be transferred, sold or shared with any third party without the prior consent of The Bridal Edit.

4. Description of the Service

The Bridal Edit is an online management platform designed for professionals in the beauty and wedding industries.

Depending on the plan selected, the service may allow the Client to manage clients, calendars, tasks, finances, questionnaires, documents, travel arrangements, bookings and other aspects of the Client's professional business.

The Bridal Edit offers different subscription plans, including the Essential and Signature plans. The features included in each plan are described on the Pricing page at the time of subscription.

The Bridal Edit may modify or update the features, interface or organization of the service in order to improve the platform.

Such changes will not constitute a material modification of the contract where they do not result in a significant reduction of the essential features of the subscribed plan.

5. Free Trial

The Bridal Edit may offer a seven (7) day free trial period.

The specific terms of the free trial are presented at the time of registration.

No payment details are required to start the free trial unless expressly requested during registration.

At the end of the free trial period, the Client must subscribe to a paid plan in order to continue accessing the paid features of The Bridal Edit.

The free trial does not create an obligation to subscribe to a paid plan where the Client has not completed a paid subscription.

6. Subscriptions and Term

The Bridal Edit offers subscription plans according to the plans, prices and billing periods displayed on the Pricing page at the time of subscription.

Depending on the plan selected, the subscription may be billed monthly or annually.

The subscription begins once the subscription has been confirmed and the corresponding payment has been processed.

Unless terminated in accordance with these Terms, the subscription will automatically renew for a new period of the same duration.

7. Pricing

The prices applicable to the subscription are those displayed on the Pricing page at the time of subscription.

Prices are displayed in euros, US dollars and British pounds. All prices are shown inclusive of all taxes.

The currency of your subscription is the one selected at checkout. It is final and cannot be changed afterwards: to switch currency you would need to cancel and subscribe again, where applicable with a new account.

The Bridal Edit reserves the right to change its prices for new subscriptions.

Any price change applicable to an existing subscription will be communicated to the Client before it takes effect and will only apply from the Client's next renewal period, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

8. Order and Payment

Subscriptions are completed online through the process provided by The Bridal Edit.

Before confirming the subscription, the Client may review the selected plan, price and applicable terms.

Confirming the subscription constitutes acceptance of the applicable price and these Terms.

Payments are processed by Stripe, The Bridal Edit's payment service provider.

The Client authorizes Stripe to process the payment or charge the applicable subscription fee according to the billing period selected by the Client.

The Bridal Edit does not store the Client's payment card details. Such information is processed directly by the payment service provider in accordance with its own terms and security measures.

9. Invoicing

An invoice for amounts due may be made available to the Client in accordance with the applicable service terms.

The Client is responsible for ensuring that the professional and billing information provided to The Bridal Edit is accurate and up to date.

Where applicable, Clients subject to VAT are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date tax information required for invoicing purposes.

10. Failed Payment

In the event that a subscription payment fails, The Bridal Edit may suspend or deactivate the Client's account and access to paid features until the payment has been successfully settled.

The Client's account will be reactivated once the outstanding payment has been settled.

11. Renewal and Cancellation by the Client

Subscriptions automatically renew for successive periods of the same duration, either monthly or annually depending on the plan selected.

The Client may cancel the subscription at any time through the Client's account or through the Stripe customer portal, where this functionality is available.

Cancellation will prevent the subscription from automatically renewing.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of cancellation, the Client will retain access to the paid features until the end of the subscription period already paid for.

Unless otherwise required by applicable mandatory law, amounts already paid are non-refundable, including on a pro-rata basis for any partially used subscription period.

12. Client Data and Content

The Client retains ownership of the data and content entered, uploaded or created within The Bridal Edit, including information relating to the Client's business, clients, services and business operations.

The Client grants The Bridal Edit only the rights necessary to host, store, technically process and operate the service.

The Client remains responsible for the legality, accuracy and relevance of the data and content entered into the platform.

Where the Client enters personal data relating to the Client's own clients or other third parties, the Client is responsible for ensuring that the Client has the necessary rights and authorizations and complies with all applicable data protection obligations.

The processing of personal data is further described in The Bridal Edit's Privacy Policy.

13. Document Templates and Invoicing

The Bridal Edit may provide customizable document templates, including invoice templates, questionnaires, guides and other professional documents.

These templates are provided as business management tools and do not constitute legal, tax or accounting advice.

The Bridal Edit is not an accounting firm, tax advisor or accounting software provider.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, The Bridal Edit is not a certified invoicing solution and does not guarantee that documents generated through the platform will automatically comply with all legal, tax or accounting requirements applicable to the Client.

The Client remains solely responsible for ensuring that the Client's documents and invoices comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

14. Intellectual Property

The Bridal Edit, including its brand, names, logos, text, interfaces, graphics, features, software, databases, content and other elements comprising the service, are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Such elements are owned by The Bridal Edit or its partners and may not be reproduced, exploited, distributed or used without prior authorization where such authorization is required.

Subject to compliance with these Terms and for the duration of the subscription, the Client is granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable right to use the service solely for the purposes of the Client's professional business.

The Client may not reproduce, resell, sublicense, distribute or otherwise make The Bridal Edit available to third parties, nor attempt to extract or reproduce its source code, structure or technical components.

15. Client Content and Ownership

The Client retains all rights to content created or uploaded by the Client within The Bridal Edit.

The Client authorizes The Bridal Edit to technically use such content to the extent necessary to provide the service.

The Client represents and warrants that the Client has all necessary rights to the content uploaded to The Bridal Edit and agrees not to use the platform to store or distribute unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of third parties.

16. Client Obligations and Prohibited Uses

The Client agrees to use The Bridal Edit lawfully, professionally and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

The Client must not:

  • interfere with the operation, security or integrity of the service;
  • attempt to access data, accounts or features that are not intended for the Client;
  • use The Bridal Edit for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
  • knowingly introduce viruses, malware or any other element that could compromise the service;
  • resell, rent, sublicense or otherwise make The Bridal Edit available to third parties without authorization;
  • copy, reproduce or attempt to extract the source code, structure or technical components of the service;
  • circumvent security measures or access restrictions implemented by The Bridal Edit;
  • use the service in a manner that may infringe the rights of The Bridal Edit or any third party.

17. Availability and Maintenance

The Bridal Edit will use reasonable efforts to ensure the availability and proper functioning of the service.

However, The Bridal Edit does not guarantee that the service will operate continuously, without interruption or without errors.

The service may be temporarily unavailable, including due to maintenance, updates, improvements or technical circumstances beyond The Bridal Edit's reasonable control.

Where reasonably possible, The Bridal Edit will inform the Client in advance of planned interruptions that are likely to have a significant impact on the use of the service.

The Bridal Edit is provided “as is” and subject to availability.

18. Liability

The Bridal Edit will use reasonable efforts to ensure the proper operation of the service but does not guarantee that the service will meet all of the Client's specific requirements.

The Client remains responsible for the use made of The Bridal Edit and for any decisions made in the course of the Client's professional business based on information or tools available through the platform.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Bridal Edit shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of revenue, loss of business or loss of customers resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the service.

The Client is responsible for maintaining its own backups of important data.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Bridal Edit's aggregate liability for direct damages arising from the use of the service shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the Client during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

This limitation shall not apply where such limitation of liability is prohibited by applicable law.

19. Suspension and Termination by The Bridal Edit

In the event of a breach of these Terms by the Client, including fraudulent use, infringement of intellectual property rights, unauthorized account sharing or failure to pay, The Bridal Edit may temporarily suspend or terminate the Client's access to the service.

Where circumstances permit, The Bridal Edit will notify the Client in advance of the suspension or termination and provide the Client with an opportunity to remedy the breach.

In the event of a serious breach or conduct likely to compromise the security, integrity or interests of The Bridal Edit or its users, immediate suspension may be implemented where necessary.

20. Consequences of Termination

Upon expiry or termination of the subscription, the Client will lose access to the paid features of The Bridal Edit from the effective termination date.

The Bridal Edit may retain certain data for as long as necessary to comply with its legal or contractual obligations, in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Where technically possible and subject to the features offered by The Bridal Edit, the Client may retrieve the Client's data before access to the service ends.

The Client is responsible for exporting or backing up the Client's data before the end of the subscription where such functionality is available.

21. Changes to the Terms

The Bridal Edit may amend these Terms to reflect changes to the service, its plans or applicable laws and regulations.

In the event of a material change to these Terms, The Bridal Edit will notify the Client within a reasonable period before the changes take effect where required by applicable law.

Continued use of the service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

The date of the latest update is stated at the beginning of this document.

22. Force Majeure

The Bridal Edit shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations resulting from an event of force majeure as defined under applicable French law and case law.

This may include events beyond The Bridal Edit's reasonable control that temporarily or permanently prevent the provision of the service.

23. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by French law.

In the event of any dispute or difficulty, The Bridal Edit and the Client will first seek to resolve the matter amicably.

If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, and subject to any mandatory applicable rules, the French courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute relating to the validity, interpretation or performance of these Terms.

Where the Client is established in another country, any mandatory provisions applicable in that country may continue to apply where they cannot be excluded by contract.

24. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is declared invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

The affected provision shall, where possible, be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the original economic and legal intent.
